We often hear about the struggles of those with mental illness and their recovery stories – and we have ways to help those recovery stories come to life. In fact, many therapies are designed do just that. And yet, many people confuse “mental health” with “mental illness”. Some people aren’t ill, or aren’t ill anymore, but find life bland and directionless. We look at things on a continuum from illness to wellness, with a middle area where there is no illness, but also no wellness. We all fall somewhere on this continuum at different times in our lives. At GSWC, our therapists offer various levels of services and support for where you fall along this continuum.
We offer general cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) that can be helpful across a wide range of difficulties, as well as specialized versions of CBT aimed at specific disorders like bipolar disorder, PTSD, or ARFID. We also offer specialized therapies like General Psychiatric Management (GPM) for Borderline Personality Disorder. No matter what, you can count on our psychotherapists to tailor our approach to your situation and needs.
